Soundgarden
Badmotorfinger
Badmotorfinger
Description
Although released the same year as Nevermind, Soundgarden were grunge veterans by any measure in 1991. Although still awaiting the breakthrough in a post Nirvana world that 'Superunknown' would grant them, hindsight says this might be their greatest album. Cornell's voice flips into Robert Plant-esque overdrive on 'Badmotorfinger' and Cameron's breakneck drumming will make your head spin. Riffs for days and days, and a hint towards Cornell's ability to wrap some rock-radio ready melodies into razor edged head bangers.
