"Lioness: Hidden Treasures" contains 12 songs, including previously unreleased material, alternative versions of classics and some brand new compositions by Amy, and was compiled by their long-time musical partners Salaam Remi and Mark Ronson in close collaboration with Amy's family and management

After her tragic death, some producers and musicians who worked closely with Amy Winehouse - including Mark and Salaam - once again listened to all the many recordings Amy made before, during and after the releases of "Frank" and "Back To Black". Everyone agreed that she never sang or played a song twice in the same way. Salaam and Mark quickly realized that they had a collection of songs that deserved to be heard.
